Picking up a TO30

Went to see it today. All was in good working order. I'm satisfied. Wheels are reversed, and the width is 7'4". That's wider than my trailer. I have a 6'x16'. Anything beyond reversing the wheels to get it inside of 6" wide?

No just remove and change sides with rears, turn around so tires will be close to fender. Changing sides put tires lugs in direction so they will pull. Remove bolts on front axle and slide in and line front tires with center of rear tires.

You're right, flipping htem would put the tread backwards. I am just transporting it like this, when I get home I'll flip them back. I like the wide stance.

Tractordata lists it as 2800-4400lbs, what would a ballpark be on actual weight of the tractor with loader?

Also what's the bolt size on the rear wheels. I'll have to take my impact wrench and breaker bar, and want to make sure I have the right size.

11/16's and bring a 1 & 1/16 cause we don't know which are going to co-operate, or how they are dished. As miner said, just flop em around to get the tire as close to the fender, so as narrow as possible, and I'm sure it will fit on your trailer without a fight.
I will bet that loader is for a flimsy Farmall, so if it gives you any grief, don't feel bad about tossin it.
Does the seller still have the hood??? Be nice to have...

Has hood, in good shape too. Just took it off to put in the battery. The bucket is a flimsy thing but it also comes with a 6' better bucket as well, and rear grader blade.

When I asked about the bolts he said 27mm. I figured it was 1" or 1&1/8th. I'm surprised it's a 16th.

How is the hydro pump. Be nice to replace the cylinders with dual action cylinders. Also with the bigger bucket, how well it will lift.

Two wrenches you need for Harry's tractors are 11/16 and 1 - 1/16, his favorites. As for weight, much depends on whether
or not the rear tires have fluid. The loader is probably about 500 lbs. The tractor is about 2900 empty. Loaded rears
could add another 800+. Then you have chains and miscellaneous stuff like the grader blade and extra bucket. You could
easily have 5000 lbs.

Rear tires are calcium filled. There's a 55gal drum with concrete on the 3pt as a ballast. I'm doing it in two trips.

Picked up the 3pt blades, buckets, hood today. Tomorrow I'm going up to flip the wheels and load just the tractor. 1½ hour drive one way, an hour loading the stuff. I used chains to lift the equipment with the tractor onto the trailer. Worked great, I have no complaints.

I'm a bit worried about flipping the tires around. If they're that heavy, I'll likely have an issue doing it by myself. He says they're tubed and have calcium in them.

Also, an original manual, as his grandfather was the original owner, passed to his father, and passed to him.

Here's the grader and big bucket.

And the hood.

It has a new gas tank, rebuilt carb, rebuilt generator, 12v coversion, new air filter. It starts up first crank, but will need some electrical work. It's a positive ground, and there's no kill switch, so I have to disconnect the battery when it's not in use. Also lights aren't hooked up, so there's a bit to do yet.

Short answer? No.
OK, not always possible, but bring a bunch of sockets and wrenches, because who knows what size nuts and bolts they put the rims onto the centers. You need a couple beefy friends anyway, to keep the tire vertical, even if you can't just spin it 180 , never mind roll to the other side of the tractor, but to keep it vertical and just remove all the lugs off the hub with the 1&1/16th, then the 6 holding the rim to the center, then spin the center....
Not getting squished in the process is the tricky part. Think it all over with extra brains present, invent improvised safety features- a chain hanging from an tree branch? Sky hook? Again, big beefy friends. Be careful. Good luck!
