TO-30 ignition parts

I don't have any numbers. Delco parts are very common. The points, rotor and condenser and distributor cap are the same as an Allis chalmers wd45 or D17.

Don't worry about their numbers, if they can't find parts for a cont Z129, walk out. This site's store knows exactly what you will need, and it will be cheaper too.

Thanks Tom, that is what I was looking for. I am an N guy, but a friend has a TO30 we are working on to restore. I like Fergies too, but info a lot harder to find.

Good luck, Steve.

I re-read your old post on that TO-30 - how's it coming along?

Hi Tom,

Sorry to take so long to reply, but haven't looked at my post for some time. My friend has been cleaning it of years of dirt, we plan to try to start it next week to see what it does. It's been sitting, but
still has antifreeze in it and the oil though dark has no traces of water in the engine and the hydraulic oil looks very good. So plan is to try to get it started and see how it acts and how oil pressure
holds. I had him squirt oil into the cylinders a couple of months ago and plan to drain old oil and then put a half quart in under pressure through the oil gage tube to flood everything then and prime
the pump, then add the rest thru the filler pipe and go at it. Want ignition parts on hand in case they are needed. Tractor has been sitting a good 15 years.

ts a lot easier to pull the coil wire off and crank it over with the starter until you see oil pressure on the gauge. Not everything gets oil if it's not spinning. Once you see pressure on the gauge just plug the coil wire back in and go for it.
