had one d-16

one d-21

two d-23's

installed in engine.

any reason for such a thing?

I did NOT pay attention which cylinders they came out of.

I like autolite 3116 plugs in my TO35

They seem to last longer than champion plugs in my tractor, I do not do much hard work with it anymore so you need a bit hotter plug.

Be sure you have copper core wires and not resister wires.

For a minute there I thought I was on the Allis Chalmers forum.
Never heard of a D16 or 23... I bet they would still have 26 inch power adjust rims....
I am also going to bet.. as a hunch... there was a King Edward cigar box... on a shelf.... with one D16, one D21, and two D23's in it...

Unlikely to be a valid reason for it. Maybe the previous owner thought he had a reason but it's unlikely it would hold up to much scrutiny. New plugs is better than old ones, makes my machine run much better. Once it starts fouling 'em there's no going back.
