Just wanted to say "Thank You" for all the advice and help all of you gave. This is my first time with a tractor (1955 massey ferguson TO35) and asked many questions which might have seen trivial to you guys but I got great responses. I did buy a new bush hog brand mower (5 ft) took all the precautions I was given, read the manuals and I must say it gives a fantastic cut. Fortunatley I have very flat fields so it makes it easier to mow. Should have done this a lot earlier but was skeptical about tractors. I almost feel like a regular now.... Thanks alot gentlemen....

Thanks for the followup. Sounds like you have a nice setup. Now you need a second tractor for other jobs so you don't have to unhook the bush hog from the 35 :)

One is enough right now. I do have a snow blade for the winter snow so not much changing implements as of yet....

Although I am enjoying this so far....

Agree with Dan about attaching the mower deck. I find that loud cursing and a 2x4 for a lever is helpful. My neighbors always know when I'm changing implements.
