Friend Broke his femur bone and is laid up for a while. He grew up on a farm on a TO20 and recently got another TO20 to relive his youth. I would like to get him some books on the ferguson tractor and history to read and would like some suggestions from you ferguson guys.
Thanks, Kirk

There are more books by far about the TE's than the TO's. There is a book by Haynes on the TE-20 that is a good book.

here is what I have kirk.

The best book written about Harry Ferguson is entitled "Tractor Pioneer: The Life of Harry Ferguson" by Sir Colin Fraser; © 1973 Ohio University Press. I believe an updated version has been released as well and the title is slightly different. It tells the whole story up until his death and, in my opinion, is the best book written about him.

If books are too taxing on his concentration while convalescing the DVD series Ferguson on the Farm is well worth it . Three dvds that cover every Ferguson [ England ] variant of tractor and just about every implement . Shown over the duration of a working year the implement and tractors are worked in paddocks planting, tending and harvesting real crops .

I forgot about the excellent DVD set Stuart Gibbard did on Harold Beers farm. The videos are put out by Old Pond/Diamond Farm. The production is done well with as it takes you thru the farm in the UK of Mr. Beers and his line of Fergies and implements. He will demonstrate each one and many are exclusive to the UK as the implement range for the US didn't include many of the ones he shows. The 3 DVD set is listed at £44.95 and is well worth the investment. They also carry many other DVDs as well books on tractors, farming, and agriculture.
