I posted this ?? in the crawler site but I thought I would ask you MF people also. How big of a swap would it be to put a 540 out of a 860 in a Mf 500. Does anyone know if the 510 and the 540 interchange without a lot of ?????. The crawler is blowing a lot of anti-freeze out of the radiator.

May have head gasket problem or crack in head.

yeaaaa, if you are worried about time, changing a head gasket is a tenth the time of any engine swap, especially if they don't 'quite' interchange.
BTW, this forum is for the earlier Harry Fergusons, the Massey forum will have more people with equipment like yours...
