F40 hydraulic pump

Has anyone here used the replacement hydraulic pump from this site on an F40? It is part # 184473M93 and replaces 183005M91 which is the # I have from the parts book for the original. It appears to have a filter on it which would be a plus, if you can access it to ever change it! More questions to come...

As long as the splines are correct it will fit......It is an easy enough swap over, but you will need a help or an engine crane to lift the top cover if you do not have the correct MFpart for hinging the cover over. Remove the dipstick side cover and take a photo of the position of the lever in case you forget what side of the roller it goes to! lol remove the square plate or remote control on the front right of the cover and withdraw the standpipe....check first be feeling inside to see where this goes into the pump....then remove the two little lemon shaped pegs at either side of the pump. these hold the pump in place.Withdraw the PTO shaft from yhe rear and remove the splt pin from the drive coupling, slde the coupling forwards and remove the shaft...the pump should now lift out...It is fiddly but it will come up out!.....Come back when you need more help!....I hope that helps some of you?.......Sam

The lift pump has a 2 1/2 inch cylinder. Does that call for the 2000# relief valve and the 3 inch calls for the 2500#? If so, do I need to change the relief valve on this new pump if it has the higher pressure one? Thanks, John
