just bought a to30 ser # 123199 motor just didn't sound right so i dropped the pan. the rod bearings seem a little loose and need to know the thickness of the bearing and the torque value on the rods. also the lift does not go up or down what should i look for. thanks for any help

Bearing clearance can be checked with green color Plasti-Gage. Someone else might chime in with the torque spec.

Check the lever on left side behind left foot to make sure hydraulic pump is in gear. It won't lift without the pump being in gear and engine running. FYI that is a 1953 Ferguson TO 30.

There is no spec for thickness of the bearing. Your spec is for clearance between the rod bearing and crank jornal. You need to measure the crank journal and see if it is egg shaped and out of round. If the rods are loose then I bet it is.
