Hi aussie fergers.

Any of you kind chaps have a new or 2nd hand water pump only (tea20) that you would like to sell. As i took a gamble with mine that was rusted up and got it to work, but it sounds noisy as hell, maybe good as it is masking any other nasty noises :!:

I am aware i can buy a new one for about $50.

The problem with the originals is that hey use a bearing size that is no longer available (I know this seems hard to believe.). This the case for about 15 years that I know of, and not sure how long before that. So might be best to bite the bullet and get a replacement pump.

If you have a Sparex dealer the pump S.40034 is available for your TEA 20 with Standard 80 & 85MM. Also diesel engine is the same.

I can't remember which fergie I have with one, but does yours have a grease fitting/zerk? If it doesn't leak, it isn't bad, just too old and dry a lube in there.
On the other hand, it could be one of those bloody great ozzie spiders living in there, and when you start the engine, he screams bloody murder... poor wee spider.... size of a dinner plate... criiiiiipes....

it does not leak but you can rock the fan blades back and forth, so there is some play in there. No i did not see a grease fitting or grease niple, but not sure where abouts the fitting is, i ll take another look.
