Ha all fergie nutters

You may remember the fergie i picked up for 5 bills that had a seized motor.

Thanks all very much for the help and advice from you guys on the forum, it great to have a sounding board like this.

Seeing this is the first motor i have rebuilt I am stoked.
Cranked it yesterday, it fired after some playing around then ran, a little rough at first. but early days. It starts up first time.

The starter gear does not seem to work, so need to investigate that, currently shorting the terminal to crank it. I see that you can adjust the terminal in the bell housing, after finding a post from bob aust on it. But it may have been disconnected.

Stoked that the hydrasulics all work as they should, time to find 2 new front rims and go tractoring!

Fergie ON

box a birds eh? Good on ya mate! You sound rapped for certain!!
We'll help ya sort out that knackered starter gizmo, no bloody worries mate!!! she'll be right.....

box of birds, sounds like americain lingo.. Bloody rippa cobba, is probably the aussie equivalent

Blimey. I thought you were a kiwi..... my old land lady in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty- when you'd ask 'ow r ya mate', used to say 'like a box of birds'... but then again, she'd be about 120 by now... just before she was born her grandmother was supposedly the last white woman killed by the Mauri.
I think 'rapped' is a Cook Island thing kiwi's took to. So I was told anyway.
There was a band from Christchurch that had a song 'don't bloody worry she'll be right'.... and the crew in my shop used to say that if we thought we buggered up something the boss wouldn't see...... so if you're an ozzie... you may disregard this message...
Charles was it? is right on about the weld/bronze built up on the gear lever, but not cobbled up, it can't ever never chip off, so do a careful job of it. Do it right, and Bob's yer uncle...

I am an aussie not a kiwi, but i might add that saying to my vocab.

Box if birds.... container of crabs 8)

Don't tell me you don't know any poms or kiwis there? You must be way in the wopwops backabeyond.
As far as the rest of your post...I ain't goin' there!!!
