Hi

Anyone experienced a stuck dizzy. Have loosened the bolts but it does not want to move, i do not want to be to rough with it.

I have socked it with inox to see if that will loosen it up. :D

Bolts? as in plural?
Don't go bugger this thing up, they can get dear. Twist back an forth, forth and back, while pulling upwards. Yes they do get gummed up like they're up a gum tree, but the penetrating oil will help, can you post pics on here???

Onya Tony ...

Undid the adjuster nut and the 2 nuts on either side of the dizzy. I ll get pics next time i am out there ( at the tractor that is) !! Getting new, 2nd hand front rims tomorrow....

Any experience on gear levers. It seems to pop out of the selector occasionally, easily fixed with a screw driver, to line up the rods ?? again and reinstall the lever, but bloody annyoing. Is there something on the gear lever that wears or is there an easy fix, as gearbox seems good.

:D

Australian diminutive for Distributor , Boss .
Pcp20us , you could try building up the round ball end of the gear stick with a little weld and regrinding it round again . This often helps with this type of problem

Charles is right on its a distributor, obviously its not universal language :!:

Ha boss hog how is Dazy Duck 8) Hope this is universal.

Sounds like a logical thing re gear lever to build it back up.
