anybody out there bought a 12 volt starter for their TO30,I'm thinking about it, want to know what peoples thoughts are on it? thanks, hello John, and Tom H.

If you stay with the 6 volt starter and your tractor is tuned up properly and starts quickly the 6 volt will turn it over quickly and should last a long time. The way I understand it a 12 volt will actually turn it over slower. However if yours does not start easy you may want the 12 volt so you don't burn up the 6 volt trying to start it.

How bad is your starter? There is a guy out here that has rebuilt/repaired starters for me for around $60 depending on what needs to be done.

He is in Pittsfield Smith's auto electric.

hi tom I heard of that place,I brought it to a friend of mine, also a ferguson nut ,between 2 parts starters we are hoping to get one good one.
