reading the archives,it says to use a long solder gun to solder the connection in the starter,why not just take the cap (lid) off the end then you can get at it easily,also does the threaded stud come out?I want to replace the little gasket /o ring mine ripped,I try to loosen it but the whole thing spins,tried to get vise grips on the inside but wouldn't hold it from spinning.thanks.
