I am in need of a little assistance with some baseline measurements for the throttle linkages on my 1951 Ferguson TO-20. I've had to make new linkages and just want to make sure I am in the ballpark before I start fine tuning.

In the attached picture, I am in need of the following:
1. The length of the governor to carburetor rod/ yoke (parts 16 and 28 combined)
2. The length of the governor lever arm rod and plunger (parts 15 and 29 combined)

Do you need the rod length or the overall length? The
ferguson manual has a good narrative on how to get the
correct adjustments. One of my carb to governor linkages is
11 inches. Can' t get the other one without pulling it out.

I was looking for overall lengths. When I inherited the tractor, I noticed that the linkages were trashed; so, I have had to completely redo everything, including threading new rods for the linkages. I guessed on the lengths; so, I wanted to see if anyone could measure the original equipment pieces to see if my linkages were in the general ballpark.

I think this is what you want. Throttle linkage end to bend is 9
1/4 to inside bend. Governor spring link is 5 5/16 overall.
Throttle fork is 2 1/4 and spring tube is 4 3/4 overall 1" to
spring hole. My adjusted length is 9 3/8 overall on governor
and about 11" on the throttle overall.

Every tractor is different and the Ferguson manual is your
best source for adjustment.
