Problems finding parts

1951 TO 20 with a Z120 motor. I've been trying to find the outer thrust washer # 15285A. The locator holes in mine were somehow buggered up and I'm afraid of using it.
I'm also trying to find a set of -.030 main bearings for less than $211. That's the price I was quoted by the only place I have found that had some.
Thanks for the help.

Does this help?

Bill, take that Federal Mogul number 9811 BF that Jason helped you with to a auto parts store and see what they can do for you.

Don't overthink all this, we aren't dealing with rocket science here...
The YT on line store here has 30 thou under bearing sets for $44, and Jason's selection of thrust bearings are pretty common and cheap enough too- check the 'tractor parts' box above, click on 'TO20', and bearings, and pick some out. I've had an order delivered in one day.

Tony I think you was looking at rod bearings... That pic of the thrust washers is from my box of new engine parts I am collecting and setting back. I grabbed a few of those thrust washers for $10.11 a piece. I figure I will need them for my future projects. I don't really tell part numbers and where to get the deals from anymore because I don't want to get banned from this site. Ark... I did some looking and found new Federal Mogul main bearings for $128.99 in .030 oversize.

Sparex main bearings 30 thousand(# 60899) is about $50. If you have a Sparex dealer close he may have in stock. Warehouse is out of stock. Sparex doesn't show thrust bearing.

Thank ya'll very, very much. I'll find time tomorrow to contact some places and see if I can get the parts ordered.
I thought the motor parts would be easier to find than some of the other stuff on the tractor, but this bearing deal has been a mess. I should have asked ya'll a month ago instead of being hard headed and determined to do it myself.
Learned my lesson. Thanks again.
BillL
P.S. I'm a Sparex dealer through my shop, and I checked with them and was told the main bearings were out of stock and they didn't know when, if ever, they would get them. That was the first part of January.

I should add that the Federal Mogul main bearing set comes with the thrust washers. What you want is 755M 030

I am also rebuilding a TO 20 motor. I have been looking for a replacement trust washer also (15285A). I have contacted NAPA, Parts Plus and OReillys and have not had any luck with the Federal Mogul 9811 BF part number. Does anyone have a specific source where this washer can be purchased?

Do a search for MFS1946 .Choose website that starts with letter J .
They sell the same mains for Z120 Z129 Z134 and Z145 which have thrust on center main.
Will it work?? I don't know but it has been discussed in the archives. I have found 2 sites that sell same mains for Z120 thru Z145.
If anybody does try using center thrust in Z120 Z129 I would like to hear how it worked as I have a project engine with messed up front thrust.
Besides center thrust only cost half as much as front thrust.

I googled that number and clicked on the site that started with J. Those bearings are $114.00... The correct bearings are only $128.00. In his case I would pay the extra $14.00 to get the right bearings and not have to experiment. What is messed up on yours Duner? The crank or the block?

I purchased this basket case and as I remember it is the block but I would have to go look to be certain. I remember 2 people over the years who had this problem on this forum and as I remember they never posted that it did not work to use the Z134 Z145 mains. Awhile back I looked at my block and crank and they looked like center thrust might work as the surfaces were machined.

Max, see Tom Bowman's post above. Unless I bought the last one, they had them in stock.
