original sediment bowl for a Ferguson FE-35 petrol

I am restoring a 57 grey and gold Ferguson FE-35 Petrol and can not find an original sediment bowl, or anything that looks like an original for this tractor. All the aftermarket ones do not look good.
Are there any better ones in NZ or AU.? Or dose anyone know of a salvage yard with this tractor that might have an original one.
Thank you

(quoted from post at 00:36:20 02/15/15) Not familiar with FE. You have a picture. I have one with HF on it for USA.
I am in the US also. The FE-35 sediment bowls are larger and longer than the early T0 ones. They have a larger shut off screw that goes into the assembly. There are aftermarket for the later MF tractors and AC tractors that are the same size, but they do not look correct. The original ones have a flat lever not like the round knob on the T0 ones. The aftermarket ones have a different style completly.
Thanks for responding.

I'll take some pics of my two, I've forgotten what
my 1st one looks like but was cleaning the new one
just yesterday. It has a plastic on/off valve and
a longer glass bowl which is also bigger than
to's.

Here is the pic of my petcock, it has ac on top and also main inlet, don't know if its the original or not the other fe has just a shut off valve. Here also is a pic of my steering wheel and both dashes.

Thanks for the photos. Yours looks like mine except i had a metal shut off handle. It also had an AC on top with a screw that needed to be removed to take out the shut off valve. Is one of your tractors a diesel? Looks like there is a starting instructions on the dash. Have you ever seen one like this for sale or at a salvage yard anywhere? The aftermarket ones just do not look good. I tried to repair mine and ruined it.

The sediment bowl on my late (1956) TEA20 looks identical to the bowl on the 35s described. It has AC on the top and a nylon shut-off valve.

I got a new shut off valve from a seller on E-Bay in Monroe, Louisiana. Jenkins Enterprises, daytrader55.
You can see the wear in the groove at the tip of the old valve. This causes the valve to leak. The new one has a smooth conical tip.

mine had the housing stripped on the inside so I tried to tap it out and put in a tread repair kit, but was uncessful, ended up with nothing.

Do not know why my post were not available. I have the same sediment bowl that the photo show, but had a brass shut off valve and the sediment bowl assembly threads were stripped.
I tapped out the threads with a thread repair kit, but was unable to do this successfully and in the procsess destroyed the whole assembley. The aftermarket sediment bowls do not look any thing like the original so I would like to find an original. It is good to know that the shut off valves are available, but now need to find the complete head assembly.
thanks

Graeme:

Are you aware of any salvage yards that might have a complete assembly for sale? Or are any of the aftermarket ones close to the original? Thank you

Sparex shows #S61577 to fit the FE 35 but looks like a TO 35 assembly and also shows the nylon valve to replace metal valve.

Sorry I don't know of used sources for the complete bowl fitting. You might try E-Bay, there are hundreds listed. For an original your best bet is a salvage yard, and others on this forum should be able to guide you to yards close to your location. I'm in Tasmania.
