a dull plow ???

my experience is point condition,

no matter the paint and powder, if the points are worn out it will not go in the ground and then all you have it a weight to hang on the back of the tractor.

new points and almost any old junk pile looking plow will go in the ground, then you can worry about the other missing parts.

I guess if you have plenty of free time and know what you are doing,

you could grind a negative draft on a worn down set of points to get them to work well enough to break a small garden spot or truck patch.

note: many of these old plows, you can no longer get new points for them, so off to the scrap yard they go.

a real blacksmith would heat the points then beat them out, to sharpen and reform them, must have taken real skill to do that.

I paid $275 for one just about the same but did have both tail wheels. They where stuck and would not turn so just took them off for know. Picked it up near my home.
