Ferguson 40

A friend just bought a ferguson 40. I know the sheet metal and wheels are a creme color. Is the rest a metallic grey like the massey fergusons? I'm sure I've seen a pic of one with the rest painted a dark green. Also are the grill screens supposed to be red? Thanks.

This is what it should look like. Some paint the screen around 40 red.

Beautiful tractors,
My little TO 35, 1957 model was painted this color when new.

But, in all my youth and lack of wisdom, sometime over the years, I painted it red.

Someday I may paint it back to original colors,

Your tractors are inspirational.

I really like those 40s. A neighbor has one but he's not ready to part with it. I'll have to stick to my 65s.
