Tea 20 Electronic Problem

Hi Guys,
I have installed a electronic ignition in my tractor and it was
running great. All of a sudden it quit. It has no spark so right
away I suspected the electronics. I installed a brand new one
and here is what is going on now. I have only the ignition
switch and starter hooked up to the battery 12 volt neg ground.
When I try to start it does not even kick but as it is turning over
if you flash or quickly on off the key it try's to start!
When you stop turning it over and go to shut off th key it kicks!
I'm out of ideas so any suggestions??

I could be the key switch. Maybe it is corroded and not making contact when you turn the key. I just put a generic on on my TO-20. I think I only spent $8.00.

If it is the switch try sourcing one from a marine supplier . I found these key switches to be far superior to the standard ones , similar in appearance and most importantly corrosion and water resistant .
