I finished Phil Weiderholt's side mount baler and delivered it to his brother Cletus's house in eastern Kansas. Now our two balers aren't lonely anymore! [/img]

[Steve, what a GREAT picture. So good to see the two balers side by side but even better to see two FRIENDS sharing in the moment. Thanks Steve for sharing your enthusiasm for "all things Ferguson". Nobody does it better. Max quote="SBieberich"](reply to post at 02:36:03 01/28/15)
Those things bring me more questions than answers... the R1 tires don't drive anything right? Just hold weight? And the size of the flywheel is enough to keep a 'live PTO' affect going? Was there ever big blue decals on that tin shield? Losts of room for advertisement there.
Next time I'm at Esbenshade's I'll study his better. 'IF' they even let me in the gate. Might need to go in with Miner, so I have an 'adult supervision'....

There's a gearbox and driveshaft you can put under the baler to drive the right wheel. I suspect that's why it had the tractor tread.

Here's a shot of one:

Never have installed it, so I can't tell you much about it.
