when it come to loaders is HP or size of hyd. pump what determines how effective the loader performs. ?

thanks.

It depends on all components sized accordingly.

The pump must be sized to the engine HP, the cylinder bores to the pump size, the bucket size and geometry to the tractor, etc.

A well designed system will give maximum performance for what it is intended. Changing one component might improve one aspect but will take away from another.

Example, a larger pump will increase the reaction speed but will decrease the available power, likely cause engine stalling.

A smaller pump will increase power but slow reaction time.
