The wiring is ratty on my TO-35 and tonight I had a little mishap and "dislodged" couple of wires, so it's time to clean up at least some of the mess.
So I got the pdf of the wiring diagram from the FENA site, good. Here is my question: does anyone know if the colours of the wires listed there are actually right? Seems odd that the wires connecting to both the B and F terminals of the regulator are the same colour. Also note the wires going to terminals A and B of the ignition switch are both grey, but they head off to different things. It would sure be easy to mix them up...which is why we normally use [i:c35acfa032]different[/i:c35acfa032] colours right?
And, the colour of the wire going from the ignition switch to the coil is not shown.
So anyway if anyone knows the actual colours I'd like to replicate those. For now my main concern is the generator, regulator, ignition switch, and starter switch area. Well I guess there isn't much else is there?
Thanks,
Jim
