something i should have done two months ago

beautiful morning today so I decided to block the clutches down on my machines.
15 and bright and sunny.

my question is how far down should the clutch pedal be blocked? does the pedal need to be on the foot rest or is a couple of inches ok? to include single and two stage clutches.

Start your machine. Press on the clutch pedal. When it totally disengages, you have the proper distance.
Now block it. Or use a "C" Clamp on the foot rest.
