Which is the Right Side on a TEA 20?

From the seat or looking at the tractor?

We have a problem with one brake on a TEA 20 grabbing in reverse.

Nothing obvious on dismantling.

But which is the right side so we get the springs back the right way?

TIA

Hi Ian

When you're on the seat, right arm is right-hand side of tractor, and obviously left arm would be left-hand side.

Another way of looking at it would be left foot to clutch, and right foot to foot-brake

As far as I know, right and left on all vehicles is designated from the driver's seat. In a car/truck, driver's side is left, passenger side is right. On a tractor, since there is no "passenger side", there is only left and right.

Thanks for the replies.

From what I've seen one should not assume that this is how it ought to be.

Major problem seems to be that one side of the spring in the centraliser has broken and a bit of farmerising went on.

As we're in territory where "just in time parts supply only works it they get there just in time" and need this unit asap I figure to make a spring half for the broken one.

Higher tech farmerising I hope!
