TO 20 and 30 sheet metal

Hi Tom,

I do post on the other board and I do have a 1939 9N that I have
restored. Appreciate the compliment if mine is the one you are
referring to.

A friend has a TO-30 that we are going to restore and while I am familiar with them to look at, I do not know the detail differences in the hood and grill (or a lot of other things which I will probably appreciate after getting stuck numerous times). His 30 hood and grill are pretty damaged and thinking of replacing if we can find a used assembly, but want to maintain the original 30 function an appearance so wondering if they are the same as far as latching and emblem placement.

It is indeed - I looked at your photos again. (Your trolley is a work of art, as well!)

Are you getting into the Fergies now?

A good friend has a TO-30 that has been in his family since new,
but set aside about 20 years ago and has had a few run ins with
various objects that crunched up the grill and hood some. Now he
has got the bug to restore it and I plan to help him. Experience
tells me it is much more economical to find a good used hood and
grill than spend on body work. So thinking if the 20 sheet metal is
the same it gives a wider option for finding the parts.

While I am fundamentally a Ford N person, the Fergies (20 and 30)
are cool tractors and I like them too
