Davis FEL on TO30,front mounting?

Hey guys and gals I have a 49 TO 20 or 30 not real sure which one I have.I picked up a davis model 101A FEL for it.It came with rear brackets that bolt in useing the rear fender mounts on the rear axle. This is strait forward and done!

What hooks up to the front of the tractor? I got this bar mount that hooks into the front of the super structure of the FEL with a 3/8" plate looks like it would slide under the tractors front end and tie into those two bolt holes in the bottom of the tractors front plate? is that it? just those two bolts on the front and the two 1" pins in the brackets off the back axle housing?

Seems like there should be something more substantial to tie the FEL into the front frame of the tractor?

Thanks for any help y'all can offer,MIke.

If it's a '49 model, it will be a TO20.

Thinking you're right about the front mount, just 2 bolts holding it. This is not going to be a real powerful loader. The steering (and steerer) will be pushed to the limit, so be careful.

Hint: If the front end and steering gear are not in top condition, be worthwhile to go through them now before installing the loader.

Yeah the box is pretty hammered alot of play in the box output arms, lots of play in the tie rods also.I couldnt agree more, especially since the tractor will be tough to work on once the FEL is mounted. So that is my plan:get the FEL mounted the best I can, remove FEL,clean, paint, build new hydro lines, fix all the steering component issues, rig up a docking station for the FEL then put it back on the tractor and play!!!

So thats the deal guys? the loader just uses those two bolts under there and a 35 would have 4 bolts holding the front of the loader?

y'all have seen these mounted like this?

I wish I could find my camera lol I would post y'all a pic or two,I will look again tonight....

Sure appreciate y'all chiming in and trying to help me out on this.Keep the info or pics coming please.

Thanks,MIke.
