Redoing heads on a Fergy? I also am interested in the interchange. From outward appearances It appears that you could swap a '30 head onto a '20. In my case, this is in light of the oversized pistons from the rebuild kit already being in the '20.
Inquiring minds need to know... :)

That Z129 head is going on my TO-20 that I use currently. I'm trying to get the motor back on my second TO-20 that I bought back in the spring so I can use it while I tear my main 20 down. It has been used hard for the past 4 years and only has about 15lbs of oil pressure once it's warmed up so it is getting a rebuild. It will be getting dished pistons so I can use the Z129 head and keep the compression down. I was hoping I could CC the heads today so I could publish the compression ratio numbers on here but I ended up with a shovel digging up my septic tank so I could have it pumped today.
