what would you pay for this ferg plow?

I've got one just like that with a tail wheel in a little better shape that I'm asking $250 for with no takers if that helps you.

I would say 300, is it a 12", 14" or 16" plow, if 16" it would be even more value.

just wait until the warm spring sunshine pops out and young men start thinking about breaking up a little garden spot for their sweetie. The value of plows goes straight up.

of course all of us want a 5 or 6 ft. tiller, but they are still 900-1300.

with all the parts there, I would ask at lease 300

Well that plow around here would bring $300.00 or more, but that plow isn't usable like it is. The coulters are there and so are the chains, but the jointer arms that bolt onto the coulters and the check chains hook to are missing. So if you try to use it like it is there is nothing to keep the coulters from turning sideways and damaging them or cutting the rear tractor tire.

That plow would bring 4250-275 here in nebraska. You can make your own brackets for the chains. I did for my ferguson.

I paid $225 for one with a tail wheel, coulter arms, etc, complete. It was rusted, but not bad, similar to the one in the photo. I took it apart and went at it with a wire wheel. All the steel was good. I painted red rustoleom on everything but the moldboard and the land.

I think that's the exact one I have. It needs bearings or bushings in one or both coulters; does anyone have a solution for that?

I paid $80 for mine; saw it at the side of the road, hummed and hawed, the guy came down from $100, and finally he delivered it too (not very far) as I didn't have a working truck at the time.

At the Archbold, Oh. monthly auctions last year they were very steady at $325 in so so shape up to $400 complete even if they were rusty like this one.
