Does someone know what is the part number to the hood of a Massey Ferguson 35 hood or where it may be located. The hood has a long door at top of the hood and is rounded in front. Reason is someone is trying to help me get an aftermarket hood but i need the part number to cross reference it. Any help would be greatly appreciated or if you know where i can buy one please share a link or so. Thanks

i added the images of the hood and the dash has 5 gauges on it

MF 35 Tractor manual dated 7/66 Pg 194, Item 5, P/N
184 767 M91
This hood has one knurled bolt to the left side
center to secure it.
If your machine is prior to SER # 176341 then your
hood can be found on page 188 of the parts manual
dated 9/70 manual item 11, P/N 180602M91 and has no
provision for securing other than laying in the
closed position.

Thanks Bruce i think i am lacking the manual as we just got the tractor not long ago, guess i just better get that as i was told it was a 1958 what the guy believed it was, i have yet to find a body placard of any sort so i'm lacking serial numbers to start, i found only a motor placard says z134 continental gas engine which we removed as we are currently restoring the tractor.
Thanks for sharing that info Bruce, hopefully i should get to what you wrote soon i get that manual. thanks

Thanks blazerace i don't trust much craigslist when it's not in the area, wish it was on ebay but i did check it out though and no lies it looks pretty good. What is the difference between a TO35 and an MF35.. Are they the same?

Restoring means putting it all back to factory
original.
No modifications.
Remanufacturing means updated items such as
electrical.
So are you restoring or remanufacturing?

Part numbers were not put on the individual pieces as you are thinking. If you can find a serial number plate on the dash that will be a big help. I am not sure that is the original hood for that tractor. There should not be a gap up by the dash. If I were you I would look for a hood and a center door in better shape as I notice that hood needs a lot of help to get back in good shape. Would you please send me the stamped numbers off your engine tag to the right of Z 134? My mail box is open.

I have a TO35 1957 it has two buttons left side on hood, and a 1962 MF35 it has one knob left side on small door not sure but i think thay will inerchange ?

Sorry about that, we are doing a bit of both possibly more remanufacturing. We're doing very good thus far. EX: I personally would prefer to add an after market manifold as they are more thicker and heavy duty built compared, but we're not really following any protocol, it's more of a personal fixing. Here's a few pics, i do have bunch of pics before after, some areas may not look rust clean but we do bare all rust off of it

Richard the hood that is currently there is so damaged that it is wobbly as almost crumbling and it was rusted off the right side of the dogleg, it only had a rope holding the hood up in place, i want to send you the numbers you asked for, let me try to find the messaging here in the forums, newbie here :(

The last engine serial number I have before yours is 663194 and was built on Dec. 17th 1957 so that is over 20000 so your tractor I can only guess is a 1959. When I said my mailbox was open all you had to do was look in the right lower corner of my post and click on Send Email.

Thank you very much Richard it always helps to have people around who are even willing to share their own time, greatly appreciate that, atleast now i'm barely even understanding what you wrote..Thanks my friend, yes i believe i understood the send email but i can't see the send mail on any of your posts :(

I see some of the problem you are on Modern View and I post on Classic View. Sometimes the Send Email does not get to the other view. What I would like to see happen is when a person makes a new post they have to put their email in the initial post.
