Pesky Sediment Bowl Leak - Don't Overlook the Obvious...

like I did.

I changed the sediment bowl gasket a couple of times, from rubber to cork, and back again, but still had a drip.

Finally saw the source of the leak in the bright sunshine yesterday: the plug in the "extra" threaded hole in the valve body was loose! :oops:

Amazing what a half-turn of a wrench will do! :wink:
 
and I thought you were going to say something about the plastic bowl screens...I give them a fling each time I find them too, and replace with a correct one...just say'en, been there - done that. Happy that I'm not the Lone Ranger on that one. Happy Holidays
