I have my tractor split and an looking at replacing what I can while I'm at it.

Does the ring gear look worn enough to replace?

Yes and no. Not really if it it easy enough to pull
apart in the future. Yes, if you do not desire to do
it again anytime soon.
Me? mine was stripped and I had n choice. The wife
gave up her oven at max temp, plywood on the kitchen
floor and she helped beat it on.

How many years of constant day in day out starting did it take to get that little amount of wear? Maybe have been replaced but maybe not. How many times a week/month/year are you going to be starting it? I'd leave it alone, it looks darn good to me. I had one worn three time that bad and also pushed back out of starter range. Drilled access hole in clutch housing and punched it back forward and put 4 equal spaced spot welds on it and started perfectly and the guy's had it 5 yrs now and still no problem.Seriously, that's a pretty nice ring gear.
