Getting the gear cluster out of trans case

I've been fighting with the top gear cluster in a TO30 trans. Removed the top shifter rails and a couple of shifter forks, front and rear caps and input shaft and it still won't come out. Is there anything I'm missing? Any advise?
Thanks, Kirk

From the shop manual
Pull the main shaft from the rear using a slide hammer, be prepared to catch 104 needle bearings from first speed main shaft gear..

Never done it so that is all I know.

When no one responded that's basically what I did today. popped the front bearing off the shaft and slid the shaft out taking the gears off the shaft one at a time. The needle bearing I didn't know about so they were all over the place. Will have to count them to see if I got all of them tomorrow. Thanks for the reply.
BTW it's a lot easier with a ford 8n. There's enough room to angle and slide the whole cluster out the top of the trans.

The TO20 transmissions hardly ever cause problems .
I have had mine for over 40 years and transmission wise all I ever did was adjust the shims on the bearings. Good luck.
