with the help of my son and sil we got the 35 back together late this afternoon. all works well.

a big thanks all of you on this great website and one person across the great pond for all your help and patience. I could not have done it without your help.

Good to hear how it turned out. I'm glad its working. Did you you end up using the old or new pump?

used the old one after my SIL replaced the blown oscillator with another from another old style pump. found a 2000psi relief valve on the net and we were good to go. I want to run the tractor some more to make sure all is ok then I will try to return that new pump I bought. all I did was to take the pump out of the box.
