Poor little Tony in Mass

I guess .... considering the weather back east here... I should change my handle to 'Tony DA Okie' ????? I forgot what it was like to be REALLY cold... 45 is really cold to folks down there. The blue ridge was my first reminder of what I am running away from... the bucket of windshield washing fluid in the truck stop was froze solid... oooohhh...
But there is no rest for the wicked in OK either... open the back door... a horse walks in looking for beer in the fridge. Bulls hang around playgrounds to take lunch money and pasturized milk from the babies... Cattle form gangs to hit you up for beer money.. and Canadian beer if they know you have it...
Texas pigeons try to color green tractors a squishy brownish grey with white streaks..... And 'imported to Canada by Massey Harris Ferguson' TEA20-85's never been so snug and warm... 'cept for the wind chill....
Only 12 and 1/2 more fergies and 10 and 3/4 implements to go...

You're lucky to be missing the Nor'easter were
having here in the north. The St. Lawerce is
freezing over so the cattle and other mammals can
walk to Canada and get their own beer! Those Fergies
are likely to suffer from heat stroke come summer.

Look at the bright side Tony you'll be the only
snowbird there. All the rest come to Ga. and
Fla.Kinda figured you were on the road.So now we
know which is your favorite.

That's no joke! The vultures don't wait till you're dead. They will start eating the eyes while you are crawling away...
2, I don't want to be a snow bird... I bought the place to soak up the 120 degree days... and the locals think 45 is a cold day...hahahahah
Dieseltech... I wish you were in a straight line to there, but I need to travel well south of you to make it in 3 days... spent 2 days in mount Vernon Ill in that ice storm... I caught up on any missing sleep anyway...
I lived in the Saint Lawrence valley years ago... never again... noooooo....

(quoted from post at 23:52:10 12/12/14) How many miles one way? Maybe sweet talk some Ferguson friends with trailers into a road trip....
Oh I don't know about that Rich.... I doubt any would be my friend after that ordeal....
1650 one way, shortest is across Tenn, but that's lumpy. Level second shortest is down Ohio river valley, but that is across lumpy Pennsylvania, so how ever ya do it less than 2000 miles involves lumps... but this cummings takes it all in stride. If I know they were that powerful - and economical... 17-20 mpg... depending on lumps, I would have bought one of these when they came out 20 years ago....
I'd love to whittle this down to 2 800 mile days... but that sometimes can't happen the way ya want...

But Tony, aren't you going to miss this? This stuff was like sticky paste.

Are you taking everything out there or are you having a yard sale?

No more tag sales for me. At the last one I wanted to slice the cheapskate 'I brake for yard sales' customer's throat with a dull butter knife.... with a 5 cent price tag. I figured it might be a waste of a good nickel.
What household stuff we don't take we will give to friends or leave to new owners... that's easier...and maybe more profitable in the long run... I never really brought home farm stuff I didn't 'intend' to keep. A couple wrong ideas or north country only things I hope to never need again... !!!!!!!
I have a 6&1/2 foot 3 point Farm King snowblower... you interested? Not much money, but NO deliveries north of Lake George!!!!!!

Texas pigeon looks like it might be tasty. Seems like you sure picked a good year to move from Mass. Things are not all that bad here, I think I've plowed snow maybe 3 times. The 35 is nestled all snug in the garage taking up a stall and doesn't seem to mind a bit that it hasn't seen the outdoors much this winter.
