Pics of Massey 35

These are some pics of the tractor I was discussing in the thread titled Might have made a mistake.

I bought it and it appears pretty good but I have not started it. Paint looks original in places but some brushed on some too

Serial number sgw 251xxx which I think puts it at 1964.

More pics. Seat looks different than lo pics I have seen. Fenders are close to perfect with a toolbox on left. Umbrella mounts?

There is a wierd bracket lower front that is kinda hard to see below the grill.

Criticisms are fine. What u see good or bad?

The umbrella mounts on the fenders are for one of these http://www.yesterdaystractors.com/RFC100R_Deluxe-Canopy-3-Bow_17541.htm

Looks like a good buy but I wanted to see the front grill that was a topic earlier. Is it running yet?

I agree with s19438 it does not look like original seat but it does look like an optional seat if MF had that available. I also think it could be a comfortable seat. As 2tractors said would like a pic. of grill in the sun light to see what is on the front bottom. SGW the W means it has multipower and I am not up on what that really is. I have read pros and cons so can't make a decision on that. It looks good from what I can see.

Have not started it yet. My pics of front did not turn out. Grill is in good shape and is the US style. I will get another pic as soon as I can.

The seat looks like it needs a cushion and backrest set. Good for bad backs on bumpy ground. An?? option? So are the canopy brackets. I'd leave them and find the umbrella or canopy that fits.
I guess if the multi power don't work, just leave it in whatever position it does work at. The plug in the tail lamp is for an extension with a lamp to clamp to the back of a trailer or hey wagon. Like what a tow truck does nowdays. Nice to see it still there.
That would be a nice 'barn find' to just wash off and use and show 'weathered' just the way it is.
With the PA rims, that must have been the loaded model Massey 35 at that time.
