First off let me say...Tony your a bad influence. I have too many plows...lol. I have been trying to convert that two bottom 14" Massey #62 plow I have into a three bottom. I couldn't find the Z braces or another saddle to convert it. I found this two bottom 12" #62 on Craigslist so I grabbed it up so I could get a saddle for my conversion. I bought two Z braces off of a forum member and they were off of an older Ferguson 14" plow. When you lay those Z braces down on top of the #62 braces they are slightly different on the angle of the Z. I will have to post a pic of the older one on top of the newer one. Did the braces change when they went from Ferguson to Massey Ferguson? Or did they change when they went to the bottoms with replaceable shins? Or is it just manufacturers differences? I do believe they will work fine I was just curious on when or why they changed.

I'm thinking you can't lay the bars in front of one
another to tell if they are the same. Lay them edge
to edge and I think they will be identical. It has
to do with the angles and the distance to
centerline.

Ya know the more I look at that, the more I'm not so
sure about it. But even if they WERE off a little
bit, unless the holes were way off, would that hurt
any? I know it wouldn't work if it made the beams
out of parallel, but it would have to be off a lot
to do that wouldn't it? Just thinkin'out loud.
Hmm....
