I'm trying to figure out the horse power for this serial number. And not having any luck. In ideas?? 1955 T035#163783 There appears to be a faint 3 at the beginning but from what I understand that should be a letter?? I'm new to all this.. Thanks

Don't worry about the b or 3, probably a miss strike. But you have a 1955 TO35, a little less than 35 horse, but they can handle most jobs for tractors in this range.

I have two 55 to-35's. one has NO letter designation as part of serial number the other has a hand stamped "S" in front of the serial number.

thanks for the replies

before they merger with MHF with the 3 letter prefix there was a S for single clutch and no letter for a dual clutch. Latter it became SGM if standard chassis gas engine and dual clutch and SGF for single clutch
