Hello all. A friend has a TEA20 with a trip bucket loader on it. He wants to be able to use the 3 point hitch as well. My thoughts are to block the tube running from the bottom plate the pump is attached to, to the top plate with the arms for the 3 point hitch. (item 9 in this URL http://www.oldfergusontractors.com/ResourceMaterials/DraftControl770.jpg)
Then attach piping to the top and bottom ports on the outside and use a 3way ball valve to redirect the flow to the loader or the 3 point hitch. Would still use the control beside the seat for both. Is my thinking correct?
Sorry for the long post!

I would think blocking the tube in side the case would stop the 3 point from moving,(#9 in picture blocked) unless the 3 way ball valve directed to the top of the 3 point port.

I just put a length of chain from the lift arm to the rear case mounts - I kept the chain long enough for the 3 point to raise almost all the way, that way I don't lose hyd pressure. Limiting chains keep my counter balance (box blade w/ weights) from dragging while lifting and driving.

Your friend needs a T bar from an automatic hitch Ypop. This will isolate the pump and stop the arms from lifting past the relief point .
