French Ferguson.

Hello all.

Drew's the name and I'm an English bloke living in France.
Own and use a French Fergie FF30GE, which is a Standard-Hotchkiss licence petrol model built in 1957 at St. Denis.

Regular use on the small-holding, ploughing, harrowing, trailering and pulley-driving a Victorian cast-iron table saw, for the cutting of firewood as the season dictates.

Also a bit of a saddo for old Land-rovers and any old machinery which requires a service interval of less than a week.

I'd post some pictures of all my kit, but I'm a bit of a newbie to the forum and don't yet have such rights. As and when, I most certainly will.

Welcome Drew.....I am from Northern Ireland....so we are not all
North American here...and you have a right to post what you like! as
long as it is Ferguson related! LOL A few of your little red bellies
have made it over to our country...I love them and maybe will seek
your help some day to locate one!...which part are you in? I love
holidays in France!

Hello, Samm.

I live in the Charente department, in a village some 90kms or so south of Poitiers. Rural, peaceful...what's not to like?

Post some pics as soon as you have the permission. I
am an English bloke too, living in Nova Scotia,
although after 40+ years of living here, I suppose
I'm Canadian now. 1951 TEA2085 Ferguson is what I
have, as well as it's bigger, younger brother, a
MF1085.
