TEA 20 Wiring

Hello,
I have the tea 20 and need some help rewiring it to a 12 volt negative ground. The wiring was in poor repair and some missing so I am basically starting from scratch. I have a new regulator and the Lucas 2 wire generator. I only want the battery to charge and do not require a charging light or 17 amp fuse etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Bob but I need negative ground due to an electronic module in the distributor to replace the points. Can a guy not take a positive ground diagram and place negative wires where there are positive wires and end up with a negative ground system????
 
There are several Gentleman in Australia, Ireland , United Kingdom and the USA that can answer your question with certainty. I hope one or several of them shall trop a line.

If you are already 12 volt with generator, to convert from postitive to negative ground:

Reverse wires on + and - of coil. (With negative ground, - goes to distributor, with positive ground + goes to distributor)

Reverse connections on ammeter if you have one.

Connect battery with negative to frame and polarize the generator.

Starter will turn same direction regardless of polarity.
 
My tractor is a negative ground 12 volt system so all I need is a diagram to redo the system. It all began with a rotted voltage regulator and broken wires throughout. I have since bought a new regulator and electronic ignition system and require a wiring diagram to rewire the tractor 12 volt negative ground as it was before all this mess started. I could probably use a few lessons on explaining thing better as well.
