Just happened to see your post, what gun show are you referring to? I thought the Tulsa OK show at 4100 tables was the largest. I'm with you, a gun show is a really good place to go home pennyless, and I love every minute of it!!

That's OK, I see ya. This was West Springfield Mass, dealers and lookers come for miles, sometimes you bump into someone from Florida, Tennessee, or Quebec or Nova Scotia. What they're buying and how they get stuff home is another question...
This show was about 700 tables, but there was room for a couple hundred more. Biggest show in the northeast anyway.
This building is about 5 or 6 acres, I can't imagine 40 acres of mildew and cosmoline.... around halfway I get sick of looking at stuff and my feet get sore, 4,000 sounds like you'd need to bring a bedroll and a coffeemaker...

Yea, it's in the Tulsa Expo Hall at the fairgrounds.
It's 11 acres under one roof with almost clearspan through the whole building suspended by cables like a bridge. It's two levels with 7 acres in the upper level and 4 in the bottom level.
Amazing to see..wait I think I've got a pic...

To make it clear, there 7 acres in one end and 4 at a lower level at the other end with the roof being all on one plane.
