F40 in Central Mass

If I where closer I would probably grab that... Not that I need another tractor, but I don't have an F40.

Dan

If I see the S/N plate correctly that is a rare Green Belly F 40. OH OH don't let Tony see it or he will need to get another trailer to get it out to OK. Tony if you get it fixed up you can pull a trailer with all your other stuff to Oklahoma. Yes I know you would have to take the back roads, boy I'll bet that would be a great trip, Mass. to Ok. I'll bet if you try you could get some company to sponsor a trip like that with a F 40. Have your camera handy I'll bet there will be something worth taking pictures about.

More like on my way back from the wild west. I have to thin the herd rather than take home anymore projects up in Mass Richard.
I still have an MF 50 rebuild and a 3rd try on that Standard smoke screen device is on the agenda...
If my F40 is #85, and it wasn't ever a green belly, only the first 35 or 40? then this one 4,000 further on couldn't possibly have been..... is this an early '57? Late 56? Rustoleum almond and smoke grey will due just fine...

I stay away from "taken apart" tractors no matter how well they look. PO possibly found more problems.Ya'll need to quit tempting Tony, he's got the fever bad! Now off to CL.

Don't worry 2. I am fergied out to the max. No mo room at the inn...
Besides, I just came home from the world's biggest gun show... so now I am sooo broke.....

I do not believe anyone has seen any paperwork showing what number was painted what if it exists. We are still trying to find the last tractor that was painted Grey and Green in 1956.
