Dimensions of hydraulic arms

What is the OAL of the lower lift arms and the left lift rod on the '56 F-40 Utility? I need to replace a mismatched set.

Somebody else may know better than I do but I believe for the low clearance F40 the lift arms should be 31 1/2" center to center of the eyes. The left lift link should be 19 13/16". The longer 33" lift arms wouldn't come along until later just like on the 35's and 50's.

(quoted from post at 00:59:10 10/24/14) Lower lift arm is 32" c to c and the lift rod is 20 " c to c. Spares shows this to fit 35-40-50's.

I looked at Sparex's site and saw those but like most aftermarket parts they aren't the same as originals. The lengths I got was from the Massey parts book. I had one of those 32" arms on my TO-20 once. I took it off and threw it to the side. My arms were 31 1/2" center to center.

A couple years ago Sam posted a picture of all the lengths and varieties of lower links. About 30 of them. Who's going to say what's 'original' for your tractor? I would get whatever swings safety away from the tire treads, with or without something hitched up, the chains must have some swing.
I suppose as jobs require it, and tires change dimension, so must the links.
And it's not just me being a cheapskate, the links getting hooked in the treads tearing up the cleats and fenders them aiming towards the back of your head is just not cool...

(quoted from post at 15:28:08 10/24/14) If you get parts from MF it will come from Sparex. MF owns Sparex.

Yes I know Sparex is owned by Agco, but there are a lot of parts that you can get from Agco that are also available from Sparex. Are they the same part? No. Look at a Sparex S.60545 oil filter for a TO-20. Then look at an Agco 830910M92. There is no comparison on which one is of better quality. Sparex is nothing more than an aftermarket supplier of parts to Agco. Some are close to original and some aren't.

Whose to say what was original to it? It went by serial number and told what lift arm it should have on it.
