Ferguson TO-20, converted to 12 volt.
It has a Cole-Hersee brand ignition switch with 5 terminals, marked as follows: "BAT", "IGN", "ACC" "ST" and "GRD". (I can't find a model number on the switch. I checked the Cole Hersee website, but I can't find a switch that looks like it.)
It seems to have three positions: off, on, and start. (Start springs back to on.) I start the tractor by turning the switch to "on", and using the gearshift start switch.
A wire hooked to "IGN" runs to the coil. Wire hooked to "BAT" runs to the terminal on the starter switch that the positive battery cable is also hooked to. Wire runs from "ACC" to the alternator. "ST" and "GRD" don't have anything hooked to them.
I'm installing headlights - where do I connect them?
Also, from what I've read on the board, it doesn't sound like this is the correct type ignition switch - should I change it?
Thanks for your help. I know nothing about automotive/tractor wiring.
