Swinging Draw Bar

Anyone have a picture of a swinging draw bar on tractor? Bought one at auction and it looks to have been set up wrong. The draw bar is on bottom of circle with the small flat stock and two bolts holding it up. I thought it should be on top to support load.

Did you make sure it was a Ferguson drawbar and not a Ford drawbar?

Yes it's Ferguson. I bought the draw bar at auction and the draw bar was on bottom. I assembled it like your picture. Didn't see how it was right with weight on small steel plate.

Looks right to me. If it wasn't fergie, just throw it in the Red River, so some poor okie can at least have a wrong one. Not in the deep part OK?
I never saw Jason's stash of Ferguson printed mater... the time lock on the walk in vault was on for the weekend....

All really good info, I right clicked the pages and saved them for referance. My TO 20 does not have a draw bar...yet.

Where did you find that info book on the conversions. Always like to get my hands on old info about fergies

I watch for stuff on eBay a lot. This isn't all of my stuff but it is some of my more recent acquisitions with my shop manual threw in for good measure. Everyone on this board should have a genuine Ferguson shop manual for their tractor whether it is a TO,TE,TEA,TED,etc... I do prefer the manuals printed in the Massey Harris Ferguson years especially when it comes to parts manuals because they have the Massey Ferguson part numbers and it will show all the production changes by serial break. If that isn't possible then I recommend getting a copy of the Ferguson Cross Reference book. It crosses all the Ferguson part numbers for all implements and tractors over to the Massey Ferguson numbers and in the back of the book you can do the opposite. Take a Massey number and cross it over to Ferguson.
