dan you are correct. on a hunch I went and moved the lever down before I saw your response. but you were dead on. heavy litte sucker especially when wet with oil.

the pic shows some of the pieces I have found so far.

Looks like you need a spring, and you found the spring retainer piece. Springs are available, but I don't see them in the YT parts listing even using the part number to search. Putting part# 180940M1 into Google brings up several places. Not sure what some of the other stuff goes to. You had quite a parts store in there!

s19438 you might want to check with Massey Ferguson that spring might be on a recall. It seems most all the car companies are having recalls maybe you can get a new spring. LOL
