first pic is of one that the hyd works but drifts down quick

2nd and 3rd pics are of the one that the lift arms go all the way up when eng. is started. will slowly drift down when eng. is shut off. with eng. running oil is spitting out the cover hole.

some help/opinions please.

I bought the hyd. CD from this site but have had no luck so far getting it to run.

thanks.

Hard to tell exactly but in the lower two photos it looks as though one of the arms which reaches down from the quadrant controls is bent. The lever coming up from the hydraulic pump is stuck in the backwards position which means (as you already know) it will make the lift arms go up as soon as you start the tractor. It looks like the two arms (fingers?) which reach down to control the valve on the pump are jammed up which is why nothing moves. You're lucky you have a normal one to compare it to.
The top one looks normal.........if you make the bottom one look like the top one it should work!

A couple possibilities are the control valve is stuck or the circlip holding the control valve spring inside the pump has let go which will allow the spring to come out the front of the pump. In either case, you are probably going to have to pull the pump out to clean it up/unstick the valve or put the spring assembly back in. I have bought two different tractors that the spring had come out. On one I was able to find all the parts and reassemble them in the pump and it has been working fine.

OK, first, if 'moving the quadrant and nothing happens', then it is the cams and levers inside or possibly just outside the cover are loose. If the tractor is running, and fluid is leaking- then from where? the bottom of the piston? Then the rings are worn. From the top of the pipe, the nylon o-ring is worn. If you take a wooden stick and push the roller on the pump lever back, and the rockshaft goes up, atleast you know the pump is good. I think you may end up having to take the cover off, if nothing else tighten the bolts on the levers, or change the little o ring. John UK has the details of the lever positions- dunno for sure-ask Inno!

THERE IS OIL BLOWING UP FROM THE FRONT BOTTOM out of the insp. hole.. I pushed the roller back and the flow of oil stopped but I saw nothing move inside.

I think you have o-ring problems. Another 2 day job for a 2 dollar part?
Most of what you need to see is submerged. You'll have to/be better off draining it anyway. Then take more pictures.

two days for you maybe. for me? who knows.....

so do you still think I have to remove the top cover?

Yes, you will have to remove the top cover, anything past this point will require it.

I'm with Tony. If you see oil blowing up from the bottom check the oring on the bottom of the standpipe. Remove that small cover on the lift cover and pull the standpipe out and check it. The picture with the stream of oil running down from the top is more than likely the lift piston leaking.
