2tractors

Looks like I"m the proud owner of a second 35
standard gas. It and 6 pieces of equipment followed
me home, well not exactly, got to make 2 trips. I
thought these tractors were rare?? Well I know the
parts for it are. It turns over good but no cranky,
just got it home late last night.

I'll try the pic again!

Why are you thinking these tractors and the parts are rare? What do you need in the way of parts? Between the TO 35 and the MF 35 there were well over 100,000 made just for the U. S.

Pretty sure he meant 'Standard' as in a Standard Motors gas engine. So it would be an FE35? rather than a TO or MF35.

Ooooh Richard... did you buy that gold belly in Ohio? So I don't have to?? If you did, and when ...or should I say 'if' it ever needs work... you'll see how few these Standard gassers are compare to 129's or Z134 powered.
Now it seems Canada still has most UK made, mine- the TEA20, came from Canada, but there don't seem to be many English or European models after the TO30 came on the assembly line here. Like??? I have only ever seen 2 MF25's around here. And my TEA was the first I ever seen till the one from Michigan at the show last month.
Seems like 2 tractors is surrounded by all the cool stuff...

Thanks Dan, I did not think of it that way. I was not able to see the front and I thought it was a TO or MF 35. Usually I can see the ridge on top of the hood but I couldn't on this one.

No I told you I left it there so you could pick it up on your way to the OK land. If it had been a Perkins 3 cylinder it would have been sitting in my garage waiting its turn to be restored. I don't go to many auctions but in the last 5 years I have seen three TEAs at auctions. I have only seen the MF 25 on ebay (about three) never in person. Tony this was the 23c diesel not a gasser. I knew you liked that diesel so I left it for you. Tony Yes 2 tractors sure finds the good stuff. I wonder why he didn't let you know there was some land down by him for sale!!!!

What is the serial number of this tractor? The later gas models (petrol) are more rare. One of mine is serial #74,619, made on Dec 2,nd 1957, the last day of the grey gold FE-35's. If you have a chance look on the left side of the transmission housing just below the steering column and see if the serial # is stamped there. I was told that most of these tractors were stamped this way when they were exported. Might have to scrape off some paint to see. Mine had a dealers tag from Denmark, and has the serial number stamped there.

I'll check for you and yes my other petrol is from Nordisk Tractor Company. This one has some strange knobs on dash and a valve coming out of the intake. It will need an overhaul as the compression on 4 is 0.I'll post you some more pics.
Richard my 2 and govs gold belly plus one in Kentucky I found in the archives are the only ones I've seen.

There is one just out side of Cleveland. It has the 23c engine. This one in Cleveland was built 9 units before the Gold Belly that came to the Expo in Lagrange, In. from Canada. I must say there is a lot of difference in looks between the two units.
