"At this time we do not do other than magnesium chloride."

this is the answer I got from the local tire company regarding my question if they filled tires with something other than CALCHOL.

I am not familiar with MAGCHOL. is it safer or less corrosive than CALCHOL?
thanks.

Hydroflation

A term in the construction business that is associated with filling liquid in to tires. However, adding only plain water into tires can cause freezing and ice mixed into the wheel; therefore, adding a solution is recommended. Which solution is best? We always ensure a liquid MAG Solution will compare alot better to all other competitors because of its advantages in the work field. First, it is fast. When adding liquid MAG with water, it mixes so well that almost immediately after mixing, it can be inserted into the tire. Next, MAG is an easy choice for a business that plans ahead because ballasted tires increase tire life. Ballasted tires grip the earth more effectively reducing wear causing slippage and friction. Solid tractor weights tend to flatten and distort the profile of tractor tires. Ballasted tires maintain their profile increasing traction further and reducing tire wear. When slippage does occur, wear is distributed evenly over the tire surface further increasing tire life. In Short, MAG also increases traction, tractor life, provides a greater fuel economy, is safe to use, is heavier, and does not freeze down. Don't believe it? Just call and ask how or download the files below.

got that from a site that sells mag/chol. FWIW.

Well. magnesium isn't known to corrode other metals like calcium chloride {seawater} does. Although there is a heck of a lot of magnesium in the ocean... go figure.
I don't like CC, but I can't argue with the fact that- if the tube and valve don't leak, nothing can come out and do damage... so...
I still haven't figured out how come sugar beet juice doesn't turn into vodka inside the tube.
You might as well buy it. You can be our loaded tire experiment!!!!
