TO-20 Light Wiring Harness...

I'm trying to decide whether to order a custom wiring harness for the lights (headlights, worklight and tail light) on a TO20 (12V), OR get some loom, wire and terminals and make it myself.

The harnesses from Agri-Services are well-regarded, and look to be reasonably priced.

However, I was a little concerned about the grounding on the lights: from what I've read on the board, it's preferable to run a separate ground wire back to a good ground on the frame, instead of grounding through the light fixture, as was done originally. I can do that if I make my own harness, but I wasn't sure how the Agri-Services harnesses did it.

Also, if I do it myself, I'd probably not use the tube to run the wires up to the hood, and route the wires a little differently, even though that's not "correct", per the FENA lighting article.

Thanks for any advice.

I bought a set of wires from them and they are great. He
added the grounding wire for me at an additional cost but
worth it.. Email me with any questions.

If you decide to make your own harness. Go to a home supply store and get you some lamp cord. It works good for light harness. They sell it by the foot. It's the wire like was on the old 2 prong indoor drop cords and of course lamps.
